The client was looking for a field inspection app for their building inspection survey business so their employees can go to the fields and answer survey questions in order to prepare a final report to be sent to the client’s customer.
A client approached AllianceTek to build an app that can help them streamline the process of inputting field notes and generating written reports from the field notes on the app to reduce/eliminate redundant clerical work in the office.

The client wanted the app to work offline as an internet connection was usually not available on the field.
The team at AllianceTek built a power app using SharePoint which could work both online and offline. At first, the client was looking for a Native Android app. AllianceTek proposed a power app as this allowed them to use the app not only on Android devices but on iOS devices as well. Besides, since the client already had the required SharePoint licenses and users, it could help them save development costs.
