The client is a non-profit organization that raises charitable donations to invest in companies, leaders, and ideas, with the goal of eliminating poverty. With offices worldwide, they stored their data on a server and shared files and documents through a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
They needed a solution that improved document sharing and collaboration among different locations and multiple time zones.
AllianceTek offered a cloud-based SharePoint customized solution that moved their data from their local server to SharePoint. Using this structure, the documents and files would be organized by a master site, with sub-sites for departments, using a template to maintain uniformity.
AllianceTek installed Office 365 and also offered seamless data migration services to the client in order to provide a unified and improved approach to document sharing and collaboration at multiple locations.
Features included a mobile responsive design, single sign-on to all sites, role-based and secure access to users, global search facility, cross-site document access, branding and customization as necessary.
