The client was looking for a solution that facilitates them to easily conduct periodic inspections of their fleet cars. The app streamlines the inspection process, allowing the client’s employee to quickly capture and record the necessary data, and provides analytics and reporting capabilities to help the client manage his fleet cars.
The Project is a Power App using the SharePoint platform to facilitate the client to easily conduct periodic inspections of their fleet cars. This app is used by client’s employees to record responses to inspection questions.
These inspection data are saved into the SharePoint list and used further to generate different reports and provide insights like the number of road-worthy cars, the number of road-unworthy cars, etc.
We’ve developed a Mobile App, Power App using the SharePoint platform, that streamlines the inspection process.
The app is used by client’s employees to answer inspection questions regarding company cars or private cars they are driving.
The mobile app also provides the facility to capture multiple images against each inspection question.
These inspection data are saved into the SharePoint list and are further used to generate reports and facilitate clients to have an insight into a number of road-worthy cars and road-unworthy cars.
The Power BI tool provides key insight regarding compliance reporting (due inspections), exception reporting (any damages to the car, car registration expiry), etc.
The Power Automate Flows send email alerts to employees when inspection is due.
The Power Automate Flows send email alerts to admin when the inspection is dew for the company car, when the new private car is registered, if any of the vehicle registrations are expired, the Next Service date is expired, etc.
Power App with pre-registered cars is assigned to each fleet driver with ease. And you have all the information in one place.
Drivers can register their cars if needed and the entire process is quick, simple, and smoother than ever before.
A quick inspection is done to keep the car health records updated every quarter. So even if there is a minor problem in your car, it gets noticed before becoming a bigger problem.
